Tan-to-brown goat with tall curved horns in males. Males likely will have long beards and develop a dark neck collar. They will become lighter and grayer in the winter. Males' horns will curve up from massive bases and tend to hook at the top. Horns are often 25 to 28 inches and larger ones are 31 to 35 inches with base circumference 9 to 10 inches. Most females have thin, short horns, typically 4 to 8 inches. Males weigh about 150 to 200 pounds and females about 65 to 100 pounds.
