Regal and majestic, an old world sheep. The Four-horned sheep is the type of sheep that typically carry two pairs or horns in the males, and small irregular horns in the females. They have wool 3 to 7 inches (no outer coat). Body is white and randomly spotted with black to brown patches. Preferably white face with large eye patches and dark muzzle. Males’ horns are longer, thicker, often better defined. Males' horns are longer, thicker, often better defined. The primary pair of horns come from the top of the head, curve back and around or shoots up and out 12 1/2 to 23 inches and up to 28 3/4 inches with bases up to 11 inches. Secondary pair are on the side of the head and are thinner, curve back and around. Those are usually 8 to 16 inches and up to 23 inches. Females’ horns are much shorter and thinner. Horns are black or black and white striped. Males weigh 120 to 180 pounds, typically 150 pounds Females weigh 80 to 120 pounds.
