The Indian antelope is one of the most elegant of all antelopes; it's due to its striking color and wonderful spiral horns. Mature males coloration tan or brown to black with white eye rings, ears, chin, rump, chest, and belly. Males grow ringed, cork-screw horns upward in a tall V. Adult minimum horn length 13 inches and few horns exceed 23 inches. Males weigh 43 to 125 pounds with an average weight of 84 pounds.
